Instrument Rental Scheme

If someone is going to give up playing it is usually sometime during the first few months when they realise they have made a mistake and want to do something else. The idea behind the Hayes Music rental scheme is to allow you the opportunity to experience the pleasures (and frustrations!!) of learning a musical instrument, hassle free without the initial purchase.

At the end of the rental term if you no longer want the instrument you give it back and walk away having saved yourself a lot of money and heartache. If on the other hand you wish to carry on playing you are welcome to carry on renting, although it would be advisable to consider buying.

Once you have decided to rent you will need to fill out and sign a credit agreement and a bank standing order. You will pay a deposit equivalent to three months rental, a £10.00 per instrument set up/accessories fee plus the first month’s rental in advance. The rental for subsequent months will be paid by the bank standing order.

Please provide two forms of ID
• Proof of address (driving license, recent household bill etc)
• Bank details (e.g cheque book)

When you wish to terminate the rental you will return the instrument to us, and assuming it is still in the same condition (with the exception of fair wear and tear) your deposit will be returned (personal cheque only) and you will instruct your bank to stop paying the standing order.

We have added the cornet and flugel horn to our range of hire instruments.

The cornet is available at £15.00 a month, the flugel a little more at £20.00.
